The social committee is made up of parents from Rozelle Public School who volunteer their time to organise the parent social events throughout the year.
The purpose of the social committee is to draw people together and create a social community within the school for both students and parents.
Year 1 parents generally take the lead on the 'main event' - which entails an online auction, and the parents dance.
The 'main event'
The 'main event' is held in the hall on a Saturday evening toward the end of May in Term 2.

Fundraising
Another responsibility of the social committee is to raise money for the P&C.
Funds will be spent with a process of applications tabled at the P&C meetings.
If you have ideas on where P&C funds could be spent please fill in the proposal form (DOC 141KB) and email it to the P&C treasurer.
